Happy Flag Day!

National Flag Day takes place every year on June 14 and is celebrated by the thousands of people who parade every year on this patriotic holiday. National Flag Day celebrates the original thirteen United States’ adoption of the American Flag on June 14, 1777, at the Second Continental Congress.

The fact is that while we Americans kick back and relax during summer, we do not cease to be patriotic. Many of our great summer activities and traditions, like Flag Day and the Fourth of July, display our pride and joy for living in this great nation.

We encourage you to get outdoors and go to Flag Day and Fourth of July events as much as possible, even if it’s just a picnic with your kids and grandkids. If you use a scooter to get out and about, it presents a special opportunity to display your patriotism.
